Good morning, Big Blue Nation! Thursday, September 10 — we're barreling right toward a huge football weekend in Lexington, but there's plenty of news across the UK athletics landscape today.
Fresh off that historic night at Wrigley Field, Craig Skinner’s crew hasn't let up for a second. No. 3 Kentucky Volleyball returned home and put on another dominant performance, sweeping No. 18 North Carolina. This team is looking every bit like a national championship contender.
Turning to the gridiron, the Crimson Tide are coming to town, but not everyone is banking on the betting favorites. The Kentucky Kernel's Jenna Lifshen brings the ultimate optimism, writing that while history points to Bama, she's picking the Wildcats to pull off the shocker in Lexington.
